What is persistence?

It’s how you keep going and refuse to give up. Donald Trump once talked about how often he watched people in business be so close to success – like it was around the corner – but they gave up.

Women do that often. They decide on a goal or have an intention and then quit…sometimes before they even get started. Why? Sometimes it’s because they tell their friends and the “friends” laugh at them. Other times they just presume they aren’t going to be able to succeed…so why bother trying.

Sometimes mere persistence is a mistake. When? If you are doing something and it’s not working, but you don’t change or tweek it, then all you are doing is banging your head against the wall. Persistence makes sense when you learn from mistakes and fix what’s wrong.
